Hi folks, I will be in Tokyo in a few days for a brief visit. I have found Charlie Harper's info on the Japan local patch forum, and I have downloaded some possible sites, but I wonder if anyone had more recent information about where I might rather easily find Japanese Green Woodpecker and Azure-Winged Magpie. Will be using public transportation. Landing at Haneda and will investigate the mud flats etc. around that area. I have some lovely Japanese birds already on my list from a previous trip to Kyoto, such as Blue and White Flycatcher and Japanese Pygmy Flycatcher. But I would be thrilled to add at least the two species in my headline. Thanks.
