WWT London Photography Days

Has anyone been on on one of these course days run by the Wetland Centre London. Are they worthwhile , do you learn a great deal about the mechanics of your camera and what it can do. As this is what I really need not a lesson on birding. I see they have a Nikon weekend in May , this could be good providing its not a sales expo and they also have a course by the guy who published a book on London wildlife photography.
