Here is a gull seen in the bronx needs clarification on i.d,and these shore birds,particuarly the front on in full view.thanks for thhe help.

I don't see any palmation on the third bird's raised foot, which Western Sandpiper would have. Maybe it's just the angle? It doesn't look as attenuated as the fourth bird, but the wing tips look like they do project beyond the tip of the tail.
 
The kittywake was taken yesterday in the bronx at orchard beach.that and a black-headed gull were there and three bonapartes were also spotted but not by myself.this is in the bronx.
 
i agree on western sandpiper for 3rd from left. wing projection hardly there and especially lack of breast side/flank streaking.
