on 3 Oct I saw many raptors migrating thru Changdao in Shandong.On 4 Oct it was rather quiet but we saw a male Alexander Parakeet flying over--from the feral population in Japan?
it behaved like a migrant(to its home in southeast Asia) but of course nobody knowsoor a bird market in CN?

when there are woodcock everywhere,it's not difficult to see one on the mudflat and when the tide pushes them into high tide roost,they just sit with waders on open mud and among them we even saw a Yellow-legged Buttonquail and Japanese Quails.

they are just tired.They can rest at any places eg. the seawall.They dont need a bush to hide,although some of them can find one.Amazing... I've never seen a Woodcock in a high tide wader roost!
