Hello, I am from the Boston, Ma area and love to bird. I am glad to find this forum.

I have a binocular problem at the moment. My Swift binos do not focus at the moment and the Swift centers in Houston and Hanson, MA are no longer in business. Any suggestions for centers who repair Swift?

Hi rosier and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

You will be better off asking your question in the Binocular sub-forum as you will get more feedback there ;)

Yes, Mr. Nicolas Crista was in charge of optical repair at Swift Instruments from 1988 to about 2003, when the company was sold. He then opened his own repair shop as shown above. His prices are very reasonable, and he is quick.

Like some of the others above I have had a couple of very favorable dealings with Nicolas Crista and highly recommend his services. I'm extremely happy with the work he did on a couple of my binoculars and his charges seemed very reasonable to me.
