Eastern Screech Owl Fledgling Behavior (1 Viewer)

Anyone know, if the Eastern Screech Owl fledgling ever go back into the nest house once they come out of the nest? I am seeing this behavior though I cannot be 100% sure the one popping its head out is not a sibling.

Any information is appreciated.

I don't believe it would be unusual for a fledgling to go back into the nest a couple of times but when they do it would be short lived as once they fledge the parents usually keep an eye on them and feed them when on the ground.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:
