They will be the ones which name the bird in the viewfinder. Using similar technology as AF cameras, the main i.d. characters will be pin-pointed instead of focussing points (or as well as focusing points in the Swaro models).

I'm sure that technology has been mentioned before, it will possibly be around one day. Not sure what the purists may think, but for the rest of us it would help. Of course it wouldn't tell us where to locate birds (additional satellite tracking add-on £299+ subscription) So the field craft guys will still have the edge.
