I'm surprised that Blithfield don't enter a team for the all dayers, with all the good habitat they could win it.

2 Ruddy Shelducks today - 1 in Blithe bay, the other in Tad bay. A couple of Black tailed Godwits, Green Sandpiper, Common Sand, Oystercatchers, but no other waders of note.

The disturbance today from the general public was ridiculous. People walking along the shoreline was bad enough, but a young couple sat in Tad bay, opposite the hide, having a small picnic just about topped the day off. There was also a report of a car being driven down to the shoreline at the Admaston end of the causeway and a gang of young men all having their photos taken with it; possibly a gate being left unlocked was one theory about how the car got to the shoreline.

This mornings visit- 17 Barnacle Geese, 2 Egyptian Geese, 4 LRP, 2 Ringed Plover, 1 Dunlin, 1 Green Sand heard, 5 Common Sand and 1 Yellow-legged Gull.
10/8- 4 Curlew, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Ruddy Shelduck and 1 Osprey.
It's been disappointing for wader sightings lately for some reason.

17 Barnacle Geese still, 2 Ruddy Shelduck now together, 4 Oystercatcher, 2 LRP, 2 Common Sand, 1 Snipe, 7 Redshank.
A Little Stint and a Sanderling were reported at the south end I believe, I only do Blithe Bay and Tad Arm generally.

An Osprey was the highlight this morning perched on a post in Tad Bay, otherwise it was quiet, 10 Goosander, 3 juv. LRP, 7 Ringed Plover, 1 Curlew, 1 Redshank, 1 Common Sandpiper and 12 Swift over the causeway.
Yesterday 2 Wigeon, 5 Ringed Plover, 4 Dunlin, 2 Curlew, 2 Redshank and 30 Common Tern.

It doesn't get any better for waders, this mornings visit- 1 LRP, 11 Ringed Plover, 7 Dunlin and 5 Curlew were reported. Best of the rest- Wigeon numbers building up, 2 Goosander, 1 Peregrine, 1 Kingfisher and a Treecreeper.

This mornings highlights were circa 30 Wigeon, 2 Goosander, 1 Osprey, 1 Grey Plover, 2 Snipe, 4 Curlew, 1 Green Sandpiper, an influx of Meadow Pipit since my last visit and a Wheatear.
