Bird Photography (1 Viewer)

I got into wildlife photography just over 1 year ago using budget gear - Nikon D40 and a Sigma zoom lens. If anyone is interested, check out my bird set, click on 'set' and then 'slideshow' for best viewing:

Very nice pictures. I am looking to start taking bird photos, and it is good to see what gear might work well. I have many types of woodpeckers to watch so I enjoyed your pileated photo.
