Adding Gallery pics to Opus articles (1 Viewer)

Nutcracker

Stop Brexit!
It's a right rigmarole doing this. First have to go to the gallery, select a pic, save it to my hard drive, then upload it to Opus, copy-and-paste the location & photographer info across bit-by-bit (can't be done as one easy copy, as the requested ordering structure is nearly reversed from how it's given in the gallery), and then finally paste the Opus link into the species article and do a further copy-paste of the info.

Surely this could be made far simpler? For starters, why is it not possible to just hotlink the photo directly from the gallery into the article? After all, they're all part of the same website.

I don't know anything about the technicalities Michael. However, with the old Database, when a picture got changed or deleted, the link to the Gallery was lost, or the wrong image was displayed. That caused an awful lot of work.

The Opus pictures are now completely independent from the Gallery and the Forum, so the link cannot be lost.
