This Eastern Slopes Grizzly passed our watching station this week, when we thought it was safe we got a photo of a print, check out those diggers!!!!!!! Late last fall one of our observers wittnessed a grizzly above the tree line digging a den, this spring that same observer wittnesed the same bear emerging from it's den! how lucky is that!Raptor.

What a thrill to see this bear out in the wild! Lucky you. I've seen reasonably fresh bear prints once, in central Finland, but unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) the bear was not seen.
