I started out on my walk knowing I couldn't do the distance required to visit the places the herons might be ... but thankfully they visited my area! 2 of them were in the neighbourhood which for some reason is full of little frogs.
While I saw some more little birds I'm not familiar with, their photos didn't turn out well ... but here's a couple of the blue herons and one of the mourning dove.
