Taken this past weekend off San Diego.
Would be a lifer if a Leach's Storm-Petrel

Should have a white rump split by a thin, black line if Leaches, rump looks greyish here if that is the rump we can see?

Though 'Chapman's' form is dark rumped like this and is regular in southern California. I suspect that's what this is.
