My birding day was spent jet washing the garden flags! :C

I was outside for about 5 hours and saw a large number of birds a lot of them
reflected in the puddles i was making. The local Blackbirds are very active
feeding on the berries in the garden and the street also a couple of Mistle Thrushes. Several Tits including Blue,Great and Long tailed, several Greenfinch
and Goldfinch and the 2 rival Robins provided me with adequate musical entertainment all afternoon. The Starlings are beginning to form larger flocks and where very visible and the Dunnock on the fence was a delight.
By far the best was a flock of about 20 Jackdaws flying overhead which we don't normally see in this area their calls reminded me of being in the Lake District(roll on spring!).

All round a good days birding.

By the way, it's great fun playing with a jet washer.
