Do Peregrine Falcons hunt for fish at sea?

This individual flew in from the shoreline carrying a fish, which surprised me.

Of course, it could be that the fish was already dead and washed up ashore before getting scooped up by the bird.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Another option - kleptoparasitism, stealing it from a seabird that had caught it


A pretty amazing record though, I've never heard of them eating fish before!
