Purple sandpiper (1 Viewer)

How much!
Purple sandpiper?

12 months ago, I spotted half o' dozen of these birds on some rocks behind the Spa Theatre in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. It was the first time I'd seen them, I had my Collins with me, I looked at the shape of the bill, the orange colour at its base and the leg colouring and I identified them as Purple Sandpiper.

But, I was never 100% certain, so today I went back to the same spot and managed to get the attached photo. Would someone please confirm if I'm right or not, if I'm right, I'm going to be right chuffed.
