Hello, everyone. I am a relative newcomer to both this forum and to birding, despite the fact that I have held a strong passion for nature throughout my life.

Over the course of the past two months, I would like to say that I have become rather adept at identifying birds, and have learnt a great deal about them via reading and my own, personal observations. Birding has proven to be a great method for relaxation, and simply enjoying this marvelous world.

I am glad to have joined this forum as it has been beneficial to learn about the birding experiences of others, and I am happy to have such a large group of people to share the passion of birding with.

Any advice that you would be kind enough to share with me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hi TWrecks and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

We've a few members here from South Wales and my brother lives in near Abergavenny so I'm down that way fairly often too.

Welcome to BirdForum! I am sure you will find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits.
