Spider ID Naxos

A friend of mine asked me if I could find out what this spider is. He saw it towards the top of a mountain on the Greek island of Naxos two weeks ago.
It seems to have a very distinctive web

Any ideas?

It looks like Argiope lobata but the photo is of its underside so it's hard to be sure. Yes, the stabilimentum is a typical feature of Argiope webs.
