Egretta gularis or Egretta garzetta? (1 Viewer)

This small, greyish egret was photographed at a very bird-rich location in Pirot, Serbia. At first it was accompanied by E.garzetta egrets and herons, but after they moved on it remained alone.
We could not identify this bird positively as we are not familiar with other small egret species or subspecies. Any suggestions are welcome.

It's another garzetta - you can see the plume on the back of its head. Also you can see the yellow feet in the flying photo. There aren't any other possibilities.

Size can be difficult to judge, and different postures can make the same bird appear to be quite a different size.
