Considering I looked for them at one of their strongholds on Lake Ladoga in Russia this year and couldn't find any!

I hired a small motor boat and chugged around all over the huge lake but saw none.

So that's RF booby, European free-tailed bat AND ringed seal all recouperating on the south coast currently?! Not sure if any will be released here in the U.K. but you can bet we (ie the twitching community) won't be invited!!

As far as the E F-t Bat is concerned the Isle of Wight Bat Hospital have said on FB that they will not be releasing it. They posted an article saying that after the 4 month quarantine it will be kept at the hospital as it's unclear wether it would survive British conditions.

Not sure what the plans are for the seal!
