I was very fortunate to be spending a long weekend on Anglesey when the news of the Common Rosefinch at Cerrig-man was reported on Saturday 4th June. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes the bird was heard singing and then appeared for less than a minute a couple of times! What a splendid bird it is too and with such a delightful and distinctive song!
