He/she has been in-and-out since the 1st of February. Been lots of pecking, measuring, standing back (surveyors report, solicitors fees, stamp duty, etc).

...reckon it's as good as sold.

Anyone else seen activity of late?
 
One of our boxes has been given it's first inspection today. It counts for nothing though. Last year the blue tits started nest building but abandoned it.
 
Yes have a couple of pairs viewing have 4 boxes up, 2 of them have great tits roosting in them, don't know what's going to happen. Last year raised 6 in one of the boxes now used for roosting. Don't know if I have to clean it before nesting.
 
Yeah was out yesterday and seen a Robin with nesting material so the early breeders arrived already building, LTT, Raven, Heron nest building and Barn Owl and Crossbill both on eggs (Barn Owl and Crossbill are Schedule1 birds.

same in southern Italy, plus tree sparrows checking out the boxes
