After waiting for the heavy snow to ease it finally slowed down and I ventured out :king: Loads of idiots trying to drive on the ungritted roads but my trusty walking boots got me through! :-O Only downside was my glasses....they kept getting covered in snowflakes and then going all smeared when I tried to wipe them clear :smoke:

Went along to fill up the feeders on the reserve this morning.

Got the following:

1. Buzzard
2. Pheasant
3. Chaffinch
4. Woodpigeon
5. Robin
6. Blue Tit
7. Coal Tit
8. Jay
9. Blackbird
10. Snipe
11. Great Tit

The Jay was a good New Year tick, though! Don't normally get that one quite as early as this! :)
 
Went to Stockholm to see the Black-throated thrush there, what a way to start off the year! The list so far:

Here we go again.

A cold grey day with a bit of a northerly breeze and a few snow flurries.

A short walk to the boulangerie this morning brought:-
