Thanks!

I'm just a newbie at backyard birding. And it will be fun to share with the forum all the activity in my back yard. As so as I get the pics back, I will be putting up a website to show my backyard wild aviary. Not that many varieties yet, but it is amazing the amount of Lesser Finches I have here all day long. I guess the parents liked my feeders and brought their fledglings here. In early spring I saw a Common Yellow Throat for a few days. Kind of rare for where I live, even though I'm close to the ocean. (They are insect eaters) Doves are coming to ground feed what the finches drop, and they keep increasing in numbers too!!

:D

We tend to find over here that we get a lull in birds over the Summer months, both in gardens and in the countryside. Now is just about the starting time of returning migrants into an out of the country. Also many move from high moorland where they have bred back to the coasts. Being a small country helps in this respect as you don't have to travel too far to see fresh types of birds :)
