Sologne central France request for information (1 Viewer)

I am going on a family holiday in a couple of weeks to the Sologne in Central France. If anyone has any information on birds and butterflies of the area I would be obliged. From what little information I have gleaned the area is supposed to be good for one of my all time bogey birds in France - Grey-Headed Woodpecker - therefore information regarding possible sites for this species would be greatly appreciated.

Good birding
