Funny gull at Princes Street Gardens (1 Viewer)

This was on Wednesday, sorry to leave it so late.

Me and the wife were killing a bit of time. WE were aitting on a bench at the top path. I was watching the Herring and Black backed gulls, and then this odd gull appeared and sat on the fence by the road. It was probably a second year, and it had a strange narrow like face. It was certainly a wee bitty smaller than the Herring Gulls, but not too much. It did have a faint mucky looking ring around the tip of its bill which made me think 'Ring Billed Gull', but noo I'm starting to doubt myself. Just wonderd if anyone has any idea, and indeed if the gull was still there? It was quite bold, and as well as sitting on the fence for a guid while, it also sat on the Scott Monument for ages!!
