Seen at Mindelo, Cape Verde this April.
I had these down at first as Spanish Sparrows but now I'm thinking they are Cape Verde Sparrows (Iago Sparrows).
Can someone confirm, please?
Alan

Yes, Passer iagoensis.

Males have chestnut supercilium and upperparts, and dark crown; female has chestnut scapulars and prominent pale supercilium.

That is a species missing in the gallery and the opus, please upload there as well!

Thanks, I see Ian already have grabbed them from the gallery and put into the Opus!
