Hi I grew up on the Canadian prairies, with similar bird to Montana, but when I moved to Vancouver island, we get birds like Seattle. This bird here is supper common, but there is nothing like it where I am from. Does anyone know this guy?


It took me 10 years to get a good picture of it. See attached.

It’s called Eastern Towhee now.

Edit: actually now I’ve read the original post more carefully, based on your location, it should be Spotted Towhee.
