They are really nice birds. Summer visitors in Greece. Photo taken in Amyntaio , by Petron and Vegoritis lake.

Lifer? Arte they so rare there? Here, with Cetti's they are the commonest species in the reeds and lagoons.

Ps: Another time to late, now I can only agree with Nick :-C

They are very common by Athen and south Greece.

I rmemeber going to Italy twice and seeing only one Cisticola after having been told they were abundant - finally managed to enjoy a few more last year near Barcelona airport. They're fabulous little birds!
