Birds make it again! Vulturine Guineafowl, despite having small brains, live in multi-level societies like some most intelligent mammals.

Not sure I agree about living in multi-level societies being connected to intelligence ;)

Personally I think apart from being a prey animal, deer have it sorted: live all year with your mates while the ladies raise the kids, have a two week punch-up over mating rights and then meet up with the boys all friends again.... :t:
