This new series of The Walking Dead is puzzling me? The newspaper telly guides say it is on C5 on Saturday night at 11:00pm but it's bloody Big Brother that's on! However the episodes are listed on Catch-Up, C5 On Demand and I have watched the first one. Very strange???

Essentially yes, except the walking dead have more wit and charisma!

Worlds Greatest Motorcycle Rides with Henry Cole. What a job! Of course I'd have to substitute his bikes for a Pony Car.

Watched Holes, the Disney DVD, Monday evening. Started of a bit naff, but it did get better, quite a cast in it as well.

Snow White and the Huntsman. Not a great film and an even worse Scottish accent on Thor.

Thor was okay, but none of the Marvel superhero films, despite the amazing effects, comes up to what I remember of the comics of my youth. Maybe they just aren't meant to be filmed?

...and yes, I got the dig!

Wild Hogs. This film is not good and I really can't explain why, but I really enjoy it.

Peppa Pig. I could put this in every day as my youngest loves it

Now if they did a programme where it all ended in a big hog roast that would be better. George's dragon could be used as a fire lighter

Rise of the Guardians. Good film. I'm not keen on 3D but I bet this was impressive in the cinema.

Some reasonably priced DVD sets of the 1970s TV show "The Sweeney" have turned up on the local market and I'm watching Series 1 right now. Last seen here when it was new, and not very much then. Not as much rhyming slang as I remember but perhaps that builds as the show progresses.

Interesting prospective on British police work; guns are rarely seen (considering it's TV) but the cops take a royal beating almost every time they perform an arrest. Rather have a gun myself....

"We're The Sweeney, and we haven't had our dinner!"
