Hello all,

I read this article today and found it tremendously interesting (please let me know if the link doesn't work).

I had known about the Amur Falcon's migration over the Indian Ocean before, but not of the massive gathering and feeding that takes place before the water crossing (though it makes sense). It was very interesting to read about the budding ecotourism efforts, challenging as they are, following the discovery of the roost. Scott Weidensaul wrote an excellent piece as usual.

As an aside, I'm used to seeing photos of Buteo and vulture flocks in the Americas. Seeing photos of massive falcon flocks was something else!
