Texas (US) in April - spring migration (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

I'll be in the US for work in early April. As it's the season for Spring migration, I figured it'd be nice to do some birding afterwards. Spring migration in Texas (High Island/Upper Coast) caught my attention: tons of migrant warblers (25-30 species) and waders, along with some wetland and forest species available. Quite possibly combined with birding some places nearby Harlingen in Southern Texas (for additional southern specialties, e.g. Green & Ringed Kingfisher, Plain Chacalaca, Green Jay, Pyrrhuloxia etc.).

Anyone interested in joining, perhaps? I plan on flying to Houston (probably from Washington DC). Otherwise I might join a tour, but this gets quite costly... so not sure yet.

Cheers,
Sander

Can't seem to find the edit button anymore, but anyway, this thread is not relevant anymore. I'll be going to Tennessee for birding instead of Texas.
