ID in southern Scotland (1 Viewer)

Hello again everybody, I've just uncovered some photographs I took over summer last year in southern Scotland and came across this bird.
Apologies for the poor photographs but I was hoping someone might be able to ID.
My first instinct was a juv. bullfinch (because of the white patch close to the tail in picture 2) but I may be wrong. Thanks very much!
