Blue Tits and Great Tits nesting right next to one another (1 Viewer)

Hello there,

We have got blue-tit and great tit boxes on the wall of our house, they are only about six feet away from each other and yet we have both blue-tits and great-tits nesting (both in and out with nesting material and food).

Is this unusual? I had seen the blue-tit and great-tit fighting and squabling quite violently a few weeks ago, as though fighting for territory and the victor would be nesting and the loser would have to go elsewhere, however they seem to have called a sort of truce and both of them are now bringing up families, great stuff!
