Aeolian Islands September (1 Viewer)

I'm looking at a possible yacht trip around the Aeolian Islands in September. Would they be much good for birding? Maybe some raptor migration?

It's been ages since I went, but I do remember Alpine Swifts in Vulcano. Eleonora's Falcons also breed on some of the islands, plus the obvious pelagics, both shearwaters and Storm Petrels if you are lucky. I don't have any recent, first-hand info but I can circulate your RFI to the EBN Italy mailing list. Some locals may be able to help.

Thanks. I'm heading there on Monday. I haven't found out much further except that the lonely planet says that Salina's lagoon attracts large numbers of birds in April, so presumably in September too. Also lots of Eleonara"s falcons breed there too
