Probably herring, with those dark primaries. Iceland would have much lighter primaries.

Looks more like a Ring-billed Gull to me. The pale, dark tipped bill, underside markings and impression of smaller size has me leaning that way. Definitely not an Iceland Gull.

Agreed not an Iceland but doesn’t have the look of a Herring to me either...

Do you get Lesser Black-backed up there? The heavy streaking on the head makes me think of those. But I agree, not an Iceland.

Looks like a Herring Gull, probably 2nd cycle (2nd winter). Surely not a LBBG or Ring-billed Gull.

Can you elaborate as to why this is not a Ring-billed Gull? I definitely trust you more than myself when it comes to gulling but I thought I had this one right.

I think the collar is in favor of Herring
