Combe Wood (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
As am going to be in the area over Christmas, am planning a walk in Combe Wood to see if can find a Willow Tit or two. Can anyone provide advice on where to park - looking at OS map there isn't anywhere close.

Many thanks

John

Many thanks for that, Alan. Really useful:t: From the surfbirds link, it seems that one can park near the church and head to the woods from there.

Cheers

John

Hi John,

Yes, the usual parking for Combe wood is by the church and walk up the hill from there. Willow Tits can often be encountered in the hedgerows before the wood proper.

Regards,

Robin

Thanks for the confirmation Robin. Let's hope all this rain doesn't prevent access.
