Has anyone here used the Skua covers on their spotting scope? I’m considering getting one for Kowa 773. I don’t like the kowa cover and it looks like the neoprene ones from Op/tech USA have been discontinued. I had a neoprene one from Op/tech on a Kowa 663 and really liked it. It was simple protection for when the scope was in a backpack and easy to take it out of the cover when using he scope. I don’t like the Kowa covers because they are too loose and bulky to use as a stay on case (terrible in wind), but not easy to take off either. I need a case to protect the scope while it’s being handled and packed around. It either has to be nice and snug and streamlined if it stays on, or easy to get it off. Thanks.

Hi,
I like my original green skua case for my TSN-3 a lot, but it's not made any more and probably won't fit a 773 despite the fact that both are 77mm.
Nowadays Kite sells Skua cases (I tried the one for the TSN-3 but it didn't fit my rather bulky and non-standard EP). I don't think I have seen any for other Kowa models from them though.

Kite/skua don't make a case to fit the newer kowa scopes. I enquired when I got my kowa 883. I agree with you the kowa case is way too loose.
