Gull ID Assistance (1 Viewer)

Hi

Can anyone help with the ID of this gull? It was just outside Rose Isle (nr. Burghead in Moray) today. It has an obviously broken wing, which made it a bit more confusing, but we couldn't see any black on the wing tips. Unfortunately we have been unable to convince ourselves of any particular species...

Many thanks

Owen

Going by the head and bill structure, in particular, it looks like a Herring Gull. The primaries can get pretty bleached out.
