Moths ID, Kent, UK (1 Viewer)

I must admit i had only my first Six-striped rustic as well last night and with it being my first year trapping in Derbyshire it was a NFG as well.

Dave.

Comparatively common in Huntingdonshire, supposedly, just not this bit!

David

I had 23 in the trap last night. But I also find that they are one of the commonest moths nectaring in hemp agrimony on my garden. You might find sugaring produced one.
Mind you, I don't get several supposedly common species so 'common' clearly doesn't mean 'occurs everywhere'. Species that I see reported frequently, such as brown rustic and privet hawk, seem to avoid my area.
