Four-Spotted Chaser (f. praenubila)?

I found this Four-Spotted Chaser but it looked different to the ones I had seen a couple of weeks ago in Norfolk. Had a little look in Brooks/Lewington and they had this separate form. Can someone take a look and see what they think?
Thanks, Gareth

It is a Four-spotted Chaser but not the form you mention which has extensive dark areas at the distal end of the wings.

4 spot

I thought there might be enough extra markings on the wings, not as much as Brooks/Lewington but certainly more on the forewings and narrower markings in the wings near the body. I have attached a second picture of a 4 spot, from just a few weeks ago. They look very different in my view. Is this just a natural variation.
Yours, Gareth

Oh wow Andy, nice pic. Definitely way more pronounced markings than mine. I guess I got the usual one :(
