Teal numbers have plummeted. Think the work has affected them. Normally a few handfuls on river. Best I've had recently was 15. Pochard peaked at 37 in the week. Shoveler and Goosander also declined this week.per Pete Hackett

Pre-roost observations....... At 3.30pm there were 110 LBB Gulls and 88 Herring Gulls. LBB's departed en masse at 3.45pm in a north easterly direction.
Herring Gulls departed in two groups, the first flew out north east at 3.50pm. The second (smaller) group, plus Black headed Gulls flew out north east at 4pm. By 4.05pm there were no gulls left on the pool.

Male Goldeneye still oresent, 8 Wigeon.

Seems there were more Mallards and Tufted ducks on Swan pool this afternoon than there has been over the last week. Coot numbers have remained steady during that period.

Passerine numbers around Swan pool have been generally low. Small tit flock parties today, with a few Chaffinches and Goldfinches.
Hardly any corvids, parakeets or Woodpigeons. Two Cormorants flew over high north east today.
