Help ID this bird please, London Ontario.

Located on the Thames River in London, Ontario.

This bird let me get pretty close before batting its wings at me.

It swam under water at times, and was pretty aggressive towards mallards. I have never seen this before.

Cheers Len

I think in London Ontario, it's most likely a Double-crested Cormorant.

Thanks all.

A new bird for me for sure, but it seems they are a problem in some areas after doing some research.

It was fun to watch regardless!
