Fellow wants to trade me a 3221S but sounds like it's short... He said it is what Swaro was rebadging for their use..

Thoughts? Thinking it's only worth about $50-75 with a head of some sort....

Thanks in advance!

Dave

I am having trouble finding the specifications for that tripod. Most Bogen tripods are made by Manfrotto as are most Swaro tripods.
The only specs I could find suggested that this tripod was quite short - I could be wrong so check that you can get eye level viewing without raising the center column. If you have to raise the center column then things can get a bit wobbly especially at high magnifications.

I skipped it as the price was too high....

What is a fairly sturdy tall tripod that used can be bought for $75-100 USD?

I think you will have to increase your budget a fair bit to achieve what you want. There are some used bargains out there so get searching, but you will need to spend a bit more to get a worthwhile tripod even secondhand.
