Hello all,
the first image shows two birds - are they the same or different species?
The second shows a snipe in front, and a very poor image of another bird behind. Is it possible to say anything about this one?

thanks
Niels

Thanks,
that is what I suspected. But I have had very little interaction with shorebirds the last 15 years, and now trying to relearn them

Thanks Laurie,
I have actually lived in the West Indies since 2002 so am aware of the late Mr Bond. I assume if you were to purchase the copy of the field guide that Fleming had at auction, it would cost you astronomical sums ;)
