And no sooner than I had posted the first one ebird says no, no, to what I thought looked like a Hen Harrier - Circus cyaneus AKA Marsh Hawk or Northern Harrier. I already was using Hen Harrier in China, so I'm sticking with it.

That's a Mississippi Kite - somewhat outside its official range, but sometimes seen, especially in May.
