Different Results From Two Cameras (1 Viewer)

I have two trail cameras set up to cover my birdbaths. The two baths are beside a side walk in our garden. I wanted to compare the two cameras so placed them one above the other on the same post. The bottom camera, a Wild Game, captured 50 still shots of which 14 were night shots showing raccoons or cats visiting the baths. Most of the other shots showed people walking along the walkway, The second camera, a Browning, captured 100 images, 94 daylight shots, and didn't show any cats or raccoons only people.
The only thing that I can think of to explain the different results are that even though both cameras are looking at the same scene, the sensor on the top one must be looking above the backs of the cats and raccoons. I've shimmed it a bit to point it more down and I'll see what results I get.
