Adult Jackdaws (1 Viewer)

Saw two adult Jackdaws today.The one picked up some bread I had just thrown out of the car and started feeding the other one.Is this part of the breeding ritual?Surely it cant be one of last years young!Any ideas?

Yup. Courting couple!. Well, he is. She's in for what she can get. But will settle for him if nothing better shows up!.
Sound familier?.
Happens with other bird species too!.


Never seen fish do it though!.

I've seen courting robins do this. Think it's a bit like being given flowers. ;)
