Do birds eat at night? (1 Viewer)

This may be a naive question, but do birds eat at night? (excluding hawks, owls etc)? I've noticed birds at my feeders late into the evening and early dawn. |=\|

They like to feed and dusk and dawn, presumably the fading light helps to avoid both diurnal and nocturnal predators. I believe very few birds forage during the night.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. |:p|
